VIDEO: Hacksmith recreated the shooting umbrella from Kingsman
Spy movies are awesome.
There's the snappy suits, the well-timed one liners and lots of glorious slow-mo montages.
But perhaps the best thing about a secret agent flick is the gadgets.
In the movie world they make total sense, but to your baby boomer dad who seems to be intent on ruining every movie you ever watch, they're "a load of bloody crap".

Well, thanks to the team at The Hacksmith, you can combat your non-believing relatives' illusion crushing chimes.
Because they've just recreated the umbrella from Kingsman Golden Circle.

The Hacksmith crew teamed up with Fox to make the umbrella an actual thing, fully kitting out a Parachase umbrella.
It turns out you can totally make this thing at home – as long as you have 3D printer.
All the extra equipment was easily available commercially, we're told.
Original Hacksmith and real life spy gadget inventor James Hobson showed off the dapper gadget on YouTube, with the clip notching up nearly 200,000 views after just two days.

"Broken down, it’s actually quite a simple build," Hobson said on the Hacksmith website.
"16g CO2 cartridges are used to shoot the projectile, and a small 1000TVL analog camera mounted to the tip of the umbrella transmits the video signal back to a pico projector, which projects the image onto the umbrella."
