People reckon there’s evidence of time travel in this photo from 1943

There are some eagle-eyed people out there on the interwebs.

In the video above, you see what looks like a normal-looking screenshot from Google Maps.

But apparently there's more to it - some keen-eyed paranormal believers reckon it shows a ghostly little girl peeping out from behind a tree.

And in the photo below, people reckon they can see proof that time travel is an actual thing.

It's a picture of people chilling out at Towan Beach in Newquay, England, which was tweeted by British film colouriser and history buff Stuart Humphryes.

Looks like a classic, nothing-out-of-the-ordinary olden days snap, right?

Well, some observant folks on the internet spied something that might warrant the playing of the X Files song.

Because there’s a bloke in the photo who looks like he’s staring at a smartphone.

And we’re not official historians or anything, but we do know they didn’t have iPhones back in the 40s.

So that means, if old mate is looking at a phone, he must be there… from the future.

And, we’ll point out that Humphryes works on Dr Who, so he probably has the inside scoop on time travelling and all that kind of mystery mumbo jumbo.

The theory is going now bonkers online, appearing on major sites such as UK’s The Sun after circulating on Twitter.

But as much as a love a time travelling theory, we do have to point out that this isn’t concrete evidence that Back To The Future could be realistic.

“He is rolling a cigarette,” Humphryes said on Twitter.
