This beagle is the world's best dog

A beagle named Miss P is officially the world's greatest pooch after winning best in show at the Westminster Kennel Club's annual dog show.
The 15-inch (38cm) beagle was awarded the title on Tuesday night at the culmination of the prestigious event, held over two days in New York City.
According to Miss P's Canadian breeder Tashtin Kennels, the pedigree dog has been taking out best in show honours at dog shows since she was a puppy in 2011 — basically making her the canine equivalent of those little girls who have been winning shopping centre beauty contests since before they could walk.

A Skye terrier took second place. Miss P — the P is short for Peyton — also fended off Matisse, a Portuguese water dog that's a cousin of President Barack Obama's family pet Sunny.
The Kennel Club has only twice awarded best in show to a beagle. A handsome dog named Uno, who is related to Miss P, took out the top prize in 2008. (It's not weird to call a dog handsome, right?)
