VIDEO: Little girl chills on the couch with a 3m python like it's NBD

If you came out to the lounge room and saw a little girl with a massive snake coiled around her, you'd freak the heck out.

But not if you're Ed Taoka, a massage therapist from the UK who bloody loves his snakes.

And it seems his four-year-old daughter shares his passion for the scaly pets most people would steer well clear of.

Here you can see the youngster just chillin' on the couch with a 3.6m reticulated python as one would with a cat or a cuddly dog.

There's so much to love about this video, which has clocked up close to 200,000 views since last week.

There's the fact they seem so fixed on the TV.

There's the yawn.

And there's the fact this snake's name is Cher.

In a video from January, Taoka says the little animal lover wanted to learn how to pick up snakes.

"I have been showing her and instructing how presentation of yourself and daily positive interactions is key," he said.

"The result is zero bites, no defensive behaviour and no hook needed when getting them out.

"When it comes to adding children into the equation, if they do not have the understanding to be slow, gentle and take direction DO NOT allow them to interact with any animal."

In another video, Taoka shows his daughter "singing nursery rhymes and speaking Parseltongue" to the bright yellow python.

Snakes have been in this little reptile lover's life since she was one and a half, so she's pretty comfy around them.

In fact, Taoka says the family pets are her best friends.

"My daughter loves interacting with our retics every day,” he said on YouTube.

"They get on very well together."
