VIDEO: Pro BMX rider gets back on his bike 10 months after paralysing accident
Well here's an inspirational story for you.
Former pro BMX rider Scotty Cranmer has just got back on a BMX track just 10 months after a horrible accident that left him unable to walk.
Back in October, Canmer took a brutal fall and wound up in a terrible state.
He was wearing a helmet at the time, but still suffered horrific injuries, including a bunch of facial fractures, a cerebral haemorrhage and damaging his C4 and C5 vertebrae.
He lost teeth, he lost the ability to walk and he could bare move his arms.
Oh yeah, and he spend a long time without a forehead.
But with the support of medical staff, his family, his mates and fans, Cranmer started to get better.
His commitment to his existing channel, which documented the adventures and stunts of him and his mates, seemed to really drive his recovery.
It was a hard road, but Cranmer did his best to keep positive.
To get through, Cranmer set himself goals that sounded small, but were huge milestones.
He learned how to feed himself, how to stand, how to walk and eventually, to hop back in the bike seat.
The whole time this was happening, he was dedicated to his YouTube channel and set himself a goal to reach one million subscribers.
And earlier this week, he hit that goal.
"In honor of this milestone I said that I would get back on my BMX bike and ride at my skate park for the first time since my accident," he said on YouTube.
He still has a way to go in his recovery, but he managed to get back in the saddle and take on the course.
"I have been so lucky throughout my recovery but this video proves that there is light at the end of every dark tunnel you just need the will and determination to find it," he said.
The full 16-minute video is a bit of a tear jerker, and has clocked up nearly 650,000 views in just three days.
Oh yeah, things got emotional.
"What? No, I'm not crying, just something in my eye," Youtuber Pestuji said.
"You can't watch this video without a smile on your face ," Extragagic 1 said.
