Grieving dog breaks hearts at teacher’s wake

The picture was one of several posted to Facebook by Filipino student Kristina Paola Demafelix from her teacher Carmelito Marcelo's wake.

Although he did not own the dog which lived at the school, Ms Demafelix said, Mr Marcelo had cared for it and fed it.
And when Mr Marcelo died on the weekend following a stroke, the hound - named Buboy was left baffled by his absence from the school - even making frequent visits to Mr Marcelo's old classroom to see if he was there.
The students decided to take Buboy to Mr Marcelo's wake, where he laid down beside the coffin.
Since then, Buboy had started eating again, and the whole school had taken on caring for him.
