It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of fight in the dog... or so the old adage goes.

And here is one pup holding true to that saying.

For this aqua-phobic Yorkshire terrier, it seemed joining his beloved human in the pool on a sunny afternoon would be an unattainable feat.

But where there’s a will there’s a way, and when his (slightly) bigger Labrador brother hopped in for a swim this Yorky pounced on his opportunity to join the gang.

With all the gusto of a pirate on the high seas our pint-sized protagonist springs from the water's edge, landing perfectly on the chocolate lab’s back.

To where they set sail - no one knows.

But their legend will surely live on.
