Polar bear mascot keeps slipping over on the ice

A mascot is often seen as a wuss compared to the "real athletes" but this giant polar bear is proof the men and women in novelty suits are tough nuggets.

They may look goofy, but they can take some serious hits and, gosh darn it, they get back up again.

Case in point: this guy, who can't seem to stay upright on the ice.

In a hilarious outtakes reel for a car commercial, the bear keeps falling over.

But so committed is this genderless polar bear is to the job, it continues to spring back into action.

You have to feel for these guys.

They have to dance around in ill-fitting costumes.

They're the targets for snot-nosed kids who like to kick things.

And they don't even get issued with proper footwear to be on the ice, which is evident in this video.

But they don't complain, they carry on like the hilariously-dressed martyrs they are.
