Police seize bright pink bumper car from woman driving it around the streets of China
A woman has had her car seized for hooning around the streets of China, but it’s not a souped-up Commo that she’s been lapping in.
It’s a bright pink bumper car, which looks like something from the Barbie aisle at a toy shop.
Video of the 50-year-old woman cruising about Guiyang city, in the province of Guizhou, went nuts on Chinese social media platform Weibo before trickling into global newsfeeds.

As we learned from an article from Ng Huiwen for The Straights Times, the woman owned a bumper car hire business, and decided to use the hot pink wheels to zip over to work.
Apparently, it wasn’t the first time she’d done this.
Police have reportedly roused on her multiple times for her choice of vehicle.

And as it was reported by Hangzhou.com, police “temporarily detained” the novelty vehicle to make her think twice about taking for a spin on public roads.
