Parody weather report predicts ‘high blood pressure front’ should Trump be elected

It's the weather report designed to be a joke but after today's US presidential debate, this parody forecast may just be the example of the weatherman getting it right.

Keegan-Michael Key stars in a parody weather report, providing a frighteningly cheery prediction of what might happen should presidential candidate Donald Trump move into the White House – and it's terrifying.

The video predicts a "heavy wave of denial" coming in from the east and west coast of the country, a "high blood pressure front" and civil unrest in the south back to the 1960s.

Key goes on to forecast a rise in “both temperature and existential misery" but cheerily ads this will be counteracted by a nuclear winter.

He also warns the US to prepare for "smug looks and giggling" from Canadians, who don't have an extra on Home Alone 2 making their biggest decisions for them.

The clip was uploaded to YouTube by Save The Day, which, according to its website, aims to fight the "apathy, cynicism and honest confusion that keeps citizens from using their vote" by enlisting some serious star power.  

The forecast may be fake, but it sure does make you feel glad to be an Australian.
