This monkey looks like it has a human face

What we’re about to show you is apparently a monkey.

But after studying his face, it’s difficult to say whether it’s 100 percent monkey.

Based on visual evidence and our overactive imaginations, we guessing this is part monkey, part human.

We mean, look at this guy:

Can you really say for sure that this is not the soul of a human being entombed in the body of a monkey?

We think not.

This little guy is currently living in the Tianjin Zoological Gardens in China and has become a bit of a viral superstar for his concerned-looking human expression.

It comes to you, as do so many fantastically weird videos, from the catacombs of Chinese social media site Weibo.

From what we’ve seen, it looks like the clip was originally posted to the social media platform on March 19.

Since then, it has been viewed more than 8.2 million times.

The caption, which we used Google Translate to interpret for us, reads something like this:

“My God Haha Hahaha Haha Haha Ha Ha Ha…”

There were 43 more “Ha”s that followed.

Appropriate.

Now, the clip has made its way to Western social media, appearing on sites such as The Daily Mail and The Mirror.

It’s now only a matter of time before this guy’s face is being used as a reaction to things on Twitter, or to illustrate someone’s feelings about their uni assignment.
