A bold move, shock revelation and a fiery first dinner party: Bombshell moments from Love Triangle 2023 Episode 3

We're at stage two of Stan's Love Triangle experience and things are getting spicy.

After three days of texting and one swift date, our six singles will move in with their chosen suitors for what will hopefully be a wonderful six weeks.

Pack your bags, it's move in day!

At this stage there's one question burning on everyone's mind: who will share a bed?

Jacinta and Nemo take the plunge, and Sam "falls asleep" in Emily's bed. Smooth, Sam – can we appreciate how far they've come after this incredibly awkward date.

While most couples are ticking along, Nellie and Dan seem to be struggling most, which brings us to our first bombshell...

Dan's shock confession

"I felt like I've met two different Dans," says Nellie to cameras. "The Dan on the date who was really flirty, and then 'moving in Dan'."

While Nellie wonders if it's something she's done, she shoots her shot.

"Are you attracted to me?" she asks him, sitting by the fire.

First he's not into tattoos, then he says this! What happened Nellie and Dan? The textual chemistry was sooo strong.

Nellie's hurt and admits her defenses are up.

"Of course I'm going to be hurt," she opens up to cameras. "Everyone's going to be hurt when someone says to your face 'No'."

This is going to be one awkward dinner party, which brings us to our next moment...

A fiery encounter

During the season's first dinner party, Nellie confides in the girls that things haven't been going great with her man.

Seeing Nellie have a hard time, Emily admits she want to "jump in and be the muscle" for her (which of course she has plenty of).

"She was telling us that story for a reason, so I'll have a word with him," she said.

(Spoiler, it didn't end well)

"I think Nellie just feeled a little deflated when she came in," says Emily during her "word" with Dan.

He replies: "Just because there might not be a connection there, doesn't mean I'm a bad person and that's the way I feel like you're making me." Yikes.

Dan later opens up to cameras, realising that Nellie's "obviously said something".

"I'm trying to enjoy my night and honestly... it kind of pisses me off," he utters.

Sulei's match Lisa then tries to talk with Dan – let's just say things intensify.

"I didn't see that coming," says Lisa. "You just met her a few days ago. You just met us."

Alan's flirty secret

Meanwhile, 32-year-old sparky Alan says he prefers blondes, but there's a brunette that's caught his eye – and it's not his match, Jess.

"Jacinta is very pretty," he confesses to cameras.

So the two get chatting about 'types' and what he says will have you shook. But we'll let Jacinta explain...

Lisa can't believe what she's hearing.

"I feel like we should tell her," she says of Alan's flirtatious antics, so they go tell Jess.

"It feels pretty s--t to be honest, that the person you're connecting with and potentially growing something with is flirting with someone else," Jess later tells cameras.

She's disappointed to say the least and that brings us to the end of Episode 3.
