Little women reveal their baby struggles

Reality TV doesn't have the best reputation, but occasionally it uses its powers to tell stories that mightn't otherwise be heard on television.

Little Women: LA, a new series on the Lifetime channel in the US, is one such example. It's more or less another Real Housewives spin-off, except it chronicles the chic and glitzy lives of six short-statured glamazons.

The series has chronicled the struggles of falling pregnant when you're a little person: As bombshell Elena tells her girlfriends, she and her average-height husband are trying to have a baby, but her stature might bring added complications and possible heartbreak.

In this week's season finale, the women went on to discuss their sex lives with a candour that would make a Sex and the City character blush.
