Honey Badger gives a squid a hand in eye-opening new viral video

Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins is known for his ~antics~, which is how he ended up in this more or less indescribable situation.

While on a boat off the coast of Stavanger, Norway, the professional rugby union player/expert wielder of Australian slang discovered a squid that had latched itself to the hull.

Cummins then… attempted to help the squid free itself (is how you would describe what happens next to your grandmother).

The video has been viewed close to half a million times since Cummins uploaded it to his Facebook page with the caption “Firm grip”, followed by an octopus emoji (a use which has permanently ruined the octopus emoji).

Several of his Facebook fans remarked that the aforementioned “firm grip” reminded them of... something. Uh, no comment.
