Little girl attempts to call dolphins with comb

Well here’s a different way to use a comb.

A little girl is going viral for her attempt to use a comb to attract the attention of dolphins at a Sea World in the US.

She and her family went to see the animals in Orlando, Florida to test out a theory she’d read about using a comb to mimic sounds made by a dolphin.

The comb-unication was filmed, edited down and posted to YouTube by the girl’s father.

“My daughter tried several different ways to have the Sea World dolphins come to her,” he said.

“She tried different toys, a cell phone, tapping the glass, and different movements, none of these worked consistently for her.

“She did some online research and found the comb method and thought she’d give it a try.

“The next time she went to Sea World, she played the comb for the dolphins and they loved it.”

Now, while dolphins are incredible intelligent mammals, we’re still unable to converse with them fluently.

Maybe we will one day, but we’re still not quite there yet.

Soooooo we’re unable to verify if said dolphins actually “loved it” or whether they were coming over to the window to beg her to stop making the sound.

Perhaps the comb was mimicking the sound of rude words in dolphin language.

Or maybe the dolphins couldn’t even hear the sound through the glass and were like “what’s this weird object she’s trying to show us and why is it so important?”

We may never find out, so we guess that’s up for you to interpret on your own.
