Drone captures owner’s desperate attempt to catch it before it lands in a murky lake

This is the most suspenseful thriller you’ll see all year.

What you’re looking at here is a dramatic rescue of a drone, which lost connection with its remote and began to descend gently to the ground.

Unfortunately, it was hovering over a lake which put it at risk of some serious water damage.

The owner can be seen sprinting towards the lake with a mate, desperate to catch his remote-controlled stickybeaking device from the murky waters.

It has all the markers of a Hollywood blockbuster: two men, racing against time.

A chase scene that involves birds flying out of the way of the protagonist.

And - spoiler alert - an all-too-convenient save at the very last moment.

Unfortunately, thanks to the lack of sound, the only thing missing was the punchy one-liner from the hero right after the rescue.

But don’t worry, because we’re here to fill in the blanks with our razor sharp wit.

We’re going to suggest that catchphrase-able line was something along the lines of, “No ya drone’t!” or “I drone’t think so”.

(It’s meant to be said like “don’t” except with an addition of an “r” to be reminiscent of the word “drone”, on account of the drone being a drone)
