The unnamed pup hangs out at a food stall in Tezoyuca, México.

“The puppy would scratch my leg with his paw,” the woofer’s kind sponsor said.

“And then the [shopkeeper] told me to give him a coin.”

And while he may not have a grasp on the complexities of the economy (samesies!) it seems like this clever pooch knows exactly what to do with a coin.

He handed it over to the bloke behind the counter and waited patiently.

A few moments later this happy customer had himself a taste saussie.

Now, we suppose this might just be a clever way for the shopkeeper to earn a few extra dollars from people who want to see a dog shopping for treats.

But regardless of marketing schemes, we’d still give this pup a coin.
