VIDEO: Dad surprises wife with inflatable pub when he can't find a sitter for date night

When you want to go on date night but can't get a babysitter, you could settle for a House Hunters marathon and a pizza delivery, or you could do what this guy did.

Instead of shelling out for someone to watch his baby so he and the missus could go out to the pub, he brought the pub to her.

Yep.

An inflatable pub.

In the backyard.

Complete with a fully-stocked bar, a smoke machine and a strobe light.

It even has pistachios and olives as bar snacks, which are even more appealing since it's pretty much guaranteed they haven't been tainted by the unwashed hands of other patrons.

And nothing says "date night" quite like germ-free olives.

It was the best of both worlds – being close to the little tacker and having a ripper night out.

This dream dad calls himself LadBaby on social media and his genius approach to date night is going viral.

He posted video of his brill plan to his Facebook page, which clocked up 1.5 million views.

But after it was shared by LadBible, it went absolutely bonkers with a nutso 25 million views and counting.

The inflatable pub, which goes by the genius name of Air of the Dog, was provided by his mate Jamie who is no doubt loving the exposure for his business.

This legend dad has been blogging the joys of fatherhood since the beginning of last year.

Fast-forward to 2017 and he has built up quite the fan base for himself, more than 170,000 followers on Facebook.

In his about me, he describes himself as a "daytime drinker, wannabe entrepreneur, trophy husband, aspiring sugar daddy and recently appointed father figure to a new human".
