Christina Anstead files for divorce from husband Ant just months after announcing split
Flip or Flop host Christina Anstead has filed for divorce from her husband Ant Anstead. The star's publicist and best friend Cassie Zebisch confirmed the news to People magazine.
The news comes after Christina, 37, announced their split on September 18 via an Instagram post.
"We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority," she captioned the post shared to her 1.5 million followers.
Christina posted an update shortly after announcing her split, where she gave a deep insight into her life.
"I never thought I would have one divorce let alone two," she wrote. "I never thought I would have 2 baby daddies — but sometimes life throws us curve balls. Instead of getting stuck in these 'setbacks', I choose to look at these challenges as opportunities to grow…
"I'm messy, I'm real and I'm working on healing."
Her husband Ant, 41 — who's the host of Wheeler Dealers — also posted to his Instagram about their breakup.
"Anyone who really knows me knows that I don't like to share private matters publicly. I have remained silent while holding on to hope. I never gave up on us. I pray Christina's decision brings her happiness."
Following their breakup all of Ant's photos Instagram were in black and white. He's only recently began posting photos in colour once more.
The photos heavily focus on his family, including the one-year-old son Christina and Ant have together, Hudson London.

While Christina appears to have taken down many references to Ant from her Instagram feed, Ant has kept photos of Christina on his.
The couple had been married for less than two years when they announced their split. They tied the knot in December 2018 in a surprise wedding at their home in Newport Beach, Carolina.

Before Ant, Christina was married to Tarek El Moussa, who she hosts Flip or Flop with. They were married for seven years and have two children together, daughter Taylor and son Brayden.
Despite no longer being together, the pair have remained amicable and still host Flip or Flop together.
