Yellow Wiggle Greg Page discharged from hospital five days after collapsing on stage

Yellow Wiggle Greg Page has been discharged from hospital five days after collapsing on stage during a bushfire relief concert in Sydney.

The happy news was announced on The Wiggles' official Facebook and Instagram accounts on Wednesday, alongside a photo of Page in good spirits.

"Thank you all for your questions and concerns about Greg. We are happy to let you know that he has been discharged from hospital today and will now begin a journey of rest and recovery at home," read the statement. 

"Your thoughts and prayers for Greg have meant the world to him and his family, but moving forward, they ask for some privacy so Greg can focus on his recovery. Out of respect for Greg and his wishes, we won't be sharing any more updates. Thank you."

It was on January 17 that Page suddenly collapsed after performing at a charity concert at Castle Hill RSL.

"As has been reported, our friend Greg Page suffered a cardiac arrest at the end of the bushfire relief performance and was taken to hospital. He has had a procedure and is now recovering in hospital. We appreciate your kind messages and concern," read a statement from the group at the time. 

Luckily, the band's drummer and a nurse in the audience rushed to Page's side to help revive him. 

"They really brought Greg back," Blue Wiggle Anthony Field told 9News days ago. "It is frightening. I'm just glad the guys could bring him back. It's just been really tough."
