Singer Tom Mann holds memorial for fiancée Danielle Hampson who died on their wedding day

The X Factor UK singer Tom Mann has held a memorial for his late fiancée, Danielle Hampson, who died last week on what was supposed to be their wedding day.

Posting to his Instagram Stories, Mann shared a post from a friend featuring a photo from the memorial, which showed Mann gathered with a group of friends in a park.

On the post, friend Johnny White wrote: "Today was for our Dani."

The singer also shared a sweet photo of him and his fiancée sharing a kiss.

"There are no words to describe just how much I miss you Dan. Forever & always," he wrote on the post.

Last week, Mann shared the shocking news on Instagram, saying he was suffering "irreversible heartbreak" after the death of his fiancée and mother of his child.

"I can't believe I am writing these words but my darling Dani – my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life – passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, 18th June," he wrote.

Mann, 28 and Hampson, who was 34, were set to finally tie the knot on that Saturday, having had to postpone their original dates twice due to COVID-19.

Tragically, she died in the early hours of the morning, leaving behind a slew of family and friends, including the son she and Mann, shared eight-month-old Bowie. Hampson's cause of death is yet to be announced.

A talented dancer, she worked as a PR executive at Knowles Communications before she died.

She recently appeared as a dancer in the music video for Harry Styles' song 'Treat People With Kindness' and also performed at the Spiceworld 2019 reunion tour.

The couple began dating around 2015, per Daily Mail, and got engaged in 2019.

Now, Mann has vowed to raise their child as a single dad, in the hope he will make his late fiancée proud. He also said he would continue to wear his engagement ring as a symbol of his "unconditional love" for her.

"On what was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives, ended in irreversible heartbreak," Mann's tribute read.

He ended his post: "My darling Dani, the brightest light in any room, my world is nothing but darkness without you. I will miss you forever."

Friend and choreographer Johnny White also shared a tribute for Hampson, including a gallery of photos of the late dancer with friends.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear," he wrote.

"Dani Hampson, our beautiful loving friend. Bowie's strong caring mother. Tom's partner, lover and best friend. Jeanette and Martin's daughter and the brother of Andrew.

"Loved by so many and will be missed by all. Until we see you again our beautiful friend 💔 We will promise to keep your spirit alive for Tom and Baby Bowie."
