Wolf Creek packs a twist in first trailer for TV series
The terror of Wolf Creek has a new face – and a disturbing relationship with sharp weapons.
The Aussie horror film success has been turned into a six-part TV series for streaming service Stan, and the first trailer features a killer of a twist. Watch above for your first look.
Mick Taylor (John Jarratt), the outback serial killer of the 2005 and 2014 films, doesn't appear in the trailer, but he's definitely at the centre of the backpacker murder scare-fest.
But this time around he's got to contend with Vampire Academy actress and rising Hollywood starlet Lucy Fry.
The 23-year-old Aussie plays an American tourist who is the sole survivor of one of Mick's massacres. The show will be told from her perspective as she seeks revenge. #BRINGITON.
With Wolf Creek's original writer-director Greg McLean on board, this is going to be one chilling new chapter in the story of sick Mick.
Wolf Creek will be available on Stan in 2016. Visit stan.com.au for more details.
