Jenna Ortega drops jaws in wet-look 'snakeskin' gown at Wednesday premiere

Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega has dropped jaws at the season two premiere of the Netflix series, in a wet-look snakeskin-inspired dress.

The sheer dress, made of snakeskin-textured latex, hugged her figure as she walked the purple carpet at the Wednesday Season 2, Part 1 Premiere at Central Hall in Westminster, London.

The dress appears to be wet, with an oil-like substance underneath the fabric causing it to cling to her skin.

The dress is very Wednesday Addams-inspired, despite it being white.

The actress matched the look with bleached eyebrows and a dark lip, with her hair tied into a low pony.

Ortega was joined on the carpet by her co-stars Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Isaac Ordonez, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Joanna Lumley, Fred Armisen, Georgie Farmer, Billie Piper and Steve Buscemi.

Sunday and Myers both went for bright red dresses with embellishments.

Sunday's gown featured a chunky plaid pattern and was accompanied by a red hat.

Myer's dress featured puffy lace sleeves. All three gowns featured high necks.

The rest of the cast dressed in all black, paying homage to the original aesthetic of the iconic Addams Family.

Legendary filmmaker Tim Burton directed four out of eight episodes in the first season and serves as an executive producer on the show.

He also attended the season 2 premiere, dressed head to toe in black.

Catherine Zeta-Jones wore a sparkling black floor-length gown with a halter neck and train.

She finished the look with a mesh heel and high bun.

Sunday wore an incredible all-red outfit with a knitted dress.

The textured gown was complete with a chunky plaid pattern, red lace stockings and red lace-up heeled boots.

She also carried "Thing," the rubber hand prosthetic used in the series.

The second season of Wednesday, inspired by The Addams Family, will drop in two four-episode instalments.

Isaac Ordonez followed on with the black theme, in a Burton-inspired suit, seemingly taking inspiration from the striped suit worn by Burton's classic horror character Beetlejuice.

Owen Painter put an interesting twist on classic tailored jackets.

The suit hugs him at the waist and is adorned with a matching flower under the lapel.

He matched it with an understated white tie, to not take away from the suit.

Billie Piper wore a vampy Morticia Addams-inspired gown.

The dress skimmed the floor and features an off-centre plunging neckline, decorated with lacing on the chest to add a creepy element.

Part one will hit Netflix globally on August 6, while Part two will be released on September 3.

Season one of the show was an instant success, quickly breaking the record for the most-watched season of any show produced by Netflix with 252.1 million viewers, beating out the hit sci-fi series Stranger Things.
