WATCH: Johnny Depp goes bald and chubby for new flick <i>Black Mass</i>

Ageless hunk Johnny Depp has lost his hair and gained serious weight…but luckily it's all for his new movie! Check out the first-look footage above.

The usually handsome star, 51, has undergone quite the makeunder in order to play notorious Boston gangster James "Whitey" Bulger in the upcoming flick Black Mass.

Local Boston residents managed to capture this behind-the-scenes footage of Johnny in character...we're surprised they even recognised him!

The sneak peek also includes a glimpse of Johnny's co-star, British sex symbol Benedict Cumberbatch. His fans will be relieved to see that Benedict isn't joining Johnny in the bald and chubby club!

Black Mass also stars Joel Edgerton, Sienna Miller and Dakota Johnson and will hit cinemas in 2015.
