Watch: Hugh Jackman shaves off his <i>Pan</i> pirate beard

Hugh Jackman has taken the shears to his intense beard grown to play Blackbeard for the upcoming Pan flick. Watch above!

The 45-year-old grew the bushy chin fluff to play the bearded pirate aptly named Blackbeard in Pan. And he's looked terrifying ever since!

Almost as terrifying as Ian McShane did when he played Blackbeard in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in 2011.

We'll be able to see Hugh's full pirate gear when Pan hits Aussie cinemas on July 16, 2015.
