Waleed Aly left speechless as 'The Project' co-host playfully mocks his 'manhood'
This is one of the rare occasions that you'll see The Project's Waleed Aly speechless.
It all started during after a segment on Friday's episode that was dedicated to a new medical report finding that chemicals in plastic bottles can cause defects in male genitalia and may even cause male genitals to shrink in size, this according to two Australian scientists at University of Melbourne.

Co-host Anthony Lehmann couldn't help but jump at the opportunity to rib Aly, the only other male at the newsdesk. "Waleed, is this the real reason you started the ban the bag campaign?'" Lehmann joked. The cheeky comment was referencing Aly's fervent support of lightweight plastic bags being banned at retailers Coles and Woolies.
Aly was rendered speechless and blushing. Meanwhile, Meshel Laurie chuckled alongside a more tense Gorgi Coghlan. But Aly managed to get a good crack of his own, taking aim at the poor scientists: "Do you get the feeling the scientists behind this were trying to look for justification?"
