<i>Voice</i> star Elly Oh told to 'fix her face' to become a K-Pop star

The Voice contestant Elly Oh has revealed that she was told to "fix her face" if she ever wanted to crack the K-Pop scene.
The South Korean-born Sydney music teacher told SBS Pop Asia's radio show today how she wanted to break the Korean pop scene aged 18, but a management company rejected her because of her looks. Listen to Elly's compelling story above.
"In Korea... I'm not the pretty face, honestly," Elly said. We'd have to disagree, Elly!
The 29-year-old star-in-the-making is a hot favourite in The Voice 2014's 16 finalists.
Elly, who described mentor Ricky Martin as looking like "a Michelangelo", tore the house down on Monday night's sing-off, cementing her spot on Team Ricky. Watch her fighting performance of Jessie J's 'Mama Knows Best' here:
