Victoria Beckham shamed by fans for letting Brooklyn Beckham have 'too many' tattoos

When Victoria Beckham tried to crack a joke on Instagram about her son Brooklyn Beckham being her chauffeur, many didn't see the funny.

"Contemplating how to rate today's Uber driver #whynoshirt," she jokingly captioned the selfie where she's sat in the passenger's side of Brooklyn's ride as he drove around town shirtless.

Instead, the Internet took it as an opportunity to shame the 44-year-old for allowing her eldest son to get a bunch of tattoos at the age of 19. It's believed Brooklyn now has at least 20 tattoos altogether.

"As a mother, I would have NEVER posted a picture like this. Nothing to be proud of," wrote one, while another said, "Did you approve all those tattoos?"

Yet another commenter wrote, "Oh Brooklyn don't cover your beautiful skin with too many tattoos. Fresh beautiful skin is amazing too."

But some followers swiftly came to the mum-of-four's defence, saying that as long as Brooklyn and his siblings Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and Harper, 7, were well looked after, everything else was irrelevant.

"Who are you to comment on somebody else's parenting skills? Last time I looked her children all seem happy and well cared for. Can you say the same about your sprogs?" said one user.

No doubt Victoria was just trying to showcase her son's new tattoo in the photo. The teenager got three cherubs inked on his chest days before their mother-and-son joyride. And eagle-eyed fans noticed that the tatt is similar to the one his dad, David Beckham, has on his chest -- more reason for Victoria to show it off.

Brooklyn has also got a tattoo in honour of his mother. In February, he had the word 'Mum' inked on his left bicep along with flowers and a heart.

"Big tattoo! X kisses from NYC!!" the proud mum boasted on Instagram as they celebrated over dinner.
