'He also had a white van': Victoria Beckham clears up 'working class' Rolls Royce comments
Victoria Beckham has provided some much-needed context to the viral scene where she said she grew up "very working-class."
During the four-part Netflix series Beckham, the Spice Girl was forced to "be honest" by her husband David Beckham, who revealed she was driven to school in a Rolls-Royce.

Posh Spice has now spoken with Vogue Australia to explain the moment in detail with Aussie actress Nicole Kidman.

"You know, my dad had a Rolls-Royce, and he also had a white van," she shared.
"I came from a working-class background and so my dad in the 80s, he was an entrepreneur, he started his business with my mum at the kitchen table and he did very well, so he bought himself a Rolls-Royce."
Victoria explained that even though she had moments of wealth in her childhood, she maintains she grew up working-class.

The fashion designer said she went to a regular school and grew up in a normal house.
Victoria added that her father still worked in electrical wholesale, so some days they would drive to school in the Rolls-Royce, and other days they would go in the van.
At the time she was struggling with bullying and wanted to fit in, which meant the prospect of arriving at school in a luxury vehicle was daunting.
"Me and my siblings used to beg him, 'Can we please go to school in the white van?' Like, we were mortified at the idea of going in the Rolls-Royce," she told the outlet.
Though things have changed now, at the time she just wanted to fit in and that meant arriving at school in a more 'working class' car.
