Tiffany Haddish reveals she's dating rapper Common, says she lost nearly 10kg since being in a relationship

Tiffany Haddish has a new man!

The 40-year-old actress and comedian has revealed she's dating rapper Common, 48.

During the latest episode of Steve-O's Wild Ride podcast, Haddish shared that she's lost 20lbs (9kg) since dating the rapper over the past few months due to her newfound confidence.

"I've lost 20 pounds since I've been in this relationship," she said. "I feel more confident in me and it's not him that's doing it."

Haddish explained how much happier she is being in a relationship with Common: "It's like knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does, anyways. And I love it. I love him."

She also teased that she and Common are "twins" after she made the decision to shave her head last month, saying that he's been very supportive of her choices.

"I've been talking about cutting my hair for years… he said it was beautiful," she shared on the podcast. "He's like, 'Wow, you did it man. You've got a lot of courage. You look so beautiful. I love it.' And I'm like, 'Ahh, put your head on my head.'"

Haddish was living with Common during the early stages of the coronavirus outbreak in the US and also attended a Black Lives Matter protest with him in June.

The new couple met on the set of the film The Kitchen (2019) and "became friends" — adding that it "wasn't anything sexual... because my eyes were set on something else."

But it wasn't until after they went on a virtual date that their relationship began to flourish.

"And then he got tested for everything, I got tested for everything, and yeah, we've been f---ing," she joked.
