Fans delighted as The Wiggles make surprise appearance at The Kid LAROI's gig

The Kid LAROI surprised fans at his Melbourne concert when he invited The Wiggles on stage for a joint performance.

The 18-year-old rapper treated his unsuspecting audience to a collaboration, singing 'Toot Toot, Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car' with three of the iconic children's band's original members at the Rod Laver Arena on Sunday. (Watch the moment above.)

Fans cheered as Anthony Field, Jeff Fatt and Greg Page danced and sang enthusiastically alongside the 'STAY' singer. Watch the clip above.

Following the unlikely collaboration, fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts.

"The Kid LAROI and The Wiggles was not a duo I expected but it is in fact everything i ever needed," one user wrote.

Another added, "Saw The Kid LAROI AND The Wiggles perform together my life is officially complete."

A third wrote, "The Kid LAROI bringing out the Wiggles last night was peak entertainment."

The performance comes a week after fans were left reeling when the musician cancelled a show in Melbourne, almost 40 minutes after he was supposed to take the stage.

Last Friday, the rapper was meant to appear on stage at 9pm but ended up calling the performance off at 9.35pm, citing illness as the reason.

In an Instagram story, the Kid LAROI apologised for the situation, writing, "Melbourne - to say that I'm sorry is an understatement."
