The Wanted singer Tom Parker reflects on terminal brain cancer diagnosis in emotional video

British singer Tom Parker has shared an emotional video message amid his ongoing cancer battle.

The Wanted singer posted the moving clip to Instagram this week as he reflected on his terminal brain cancer diagnosis from October 2020. Last year, the 33-year-old revealed that while his cancer was said to be inoperable, an MRI scan showed it had stabilised. 

"Healing from Cancer means attacking it from all angles," Parker captioned the video, which appeared to feature snapshots and videos from important pillars of Parker's life, from his family to his The Wanted bandmates.

"The truth is, healing doesn't mean the damage never existed," said a voiceover in the video, which featured the singer's daughter Aurelia Rose — who he shares with wife Kelsey Hardwick — playing, before a photo of his bandmates (Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes) also flashed on screen.

Parker could then be seen attending physiotherapist sessions, with the singer standing upside down on his head on a custom stool designed for his treatment.

Back in November, Parker emotionally revealed in a heartfelt Instagram post that his brain tumour was stable and "under control".

"I'm sat here with tears in my eyes as I tell you. We've got my brain tumour under control. We had the results from my latest scan…and I'm delighted to say it is STABLE,' he shared at the time. "Such a mix of emotions . We couldn't ask for any more really at this point; a year or so in to this journey. Honestly over the moon. We can sleep a little easier tonight."
