The Bachelor star Matty J transforms into Jason Statham for hilarious Fast & Furious spoof

The Bachelor Australia star Matthew Johnson, aka Matty J, has transformed into his idol Jason Statham, because why not?

The reality star got dressed up as Shaw from the Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw movie to mark the film's DVD release — and he went all out.

In the spoof shared on Instagram, Johnson not only sported Shaw's signature black blazer, but he also rocked his hairstyle… or lack thereof. Yep, Johnson's trademark curls were covered with glue and a skin-like wig to resemble a shaved head. Our verdict? Nailed it.

"Super excited to announce my recent film Hobbs & Shaw is out now on DVD and digital — make sure you watch it or @therock and I will be paying you a visit!" he said of the hilarious video, while in character. 

In a separate Instagram Story, Johnson — who first appeared on screens in 2016 in The Bachelorette — revealed that it took two hours to transform into Shaw. 

"I just wanna chop it all off. I wanna get rid of it," he told his stylists of his hair. "I've always wanted to be bald. I've always wondered what I look like. Let's do it." 

But while his Instagram followers showed their appreciation by liking the video, Johnson's fiancée, Laura Byrne, was not as impressed. 

"What the hell are you doing? Why are you talking like that?" she asked in the video when he continued to talk like the British action star. 

Byrne — who met and fell in love with Johnson on The Bachelor in 2017 — then asked him to snap out of it and get their five-month-old daughter some nappies, which he of course turned into a mission, Fast & Furious style.
