Is this a sign that Cass might win Nick Cummins' season of 'The Bachelor'?

Cassandra Wood has already been given the title of  "stage-five clinger" on the new season of The Bachelor, but she may soon be getting the last laugh.

When the 23-year-old appeared on screens in last night's premiere episode, it was quickly revealed that she had already dated the new Bachelor, Nick Cummins, aka The Honey Badger, prior to the show. And while she was portrayed as a "bunny-boiler" ex on screen, Instagram tells a different story.

According to some eagle-eyed fans, when the series wrapped filming in May, Cass' siblings swiftly followed Nick on Instagram. That's right -- her sister, Sammy, and brother, also named NIck, hinted that they were now acquainted with The Honey Badger. Sammy also gave her sis a "Go sis!" shoutout last night as the show aired.

Fans were given more reason to think Cass comes out the winner after they noticed she has been keeping a low profile on social media in the last few months.

Aside from two promo photos she posted yesterday, the former Miss World Finalist has been relatively quiet since March, when filming began. It's typical for winners to avoid or even deactivate social media altogether so they don't give away any spoilers.

It's also worth noting that past contestants, who've been perceived by viewers as having "clingy" personalities, were still standing during the final weeks. Need proof? Look no further than last year's The Bachelorette runner-up, Jarrod Woodgate, and second runner-up Ali Oetjen, from the first season of The Bachelor.

And let's not forget Alex Nation from 2016, who actually won Richie Strahan's season.

Is this a case of history repeating?
