Teresa Palmer calls nude hacking scandal an 'attack on women'

She was one of the many celebs to have her private pictures published online last year.

Now Teresa Palmer has opened up about the largest celebrity hacking scandal, revealing how she felt after topless photos of herself were leaked via Apple iCloud.

"It certainly was an invasion of privacy," she told The Daily Beast. "But also scary on a universal level that nobody's stuff is actually safe.

"Thank god for me I didn’t really have anything too risqué, but it's really scary to know that I have so many photos of my son, my birth video, all of my stuff that I know is in the hands of someone that's hacked into my computer."

According to 28-year-old Teresa, celebs affected by the hackers met up in L.A to discuss the "misogynistic" scandal.

"We all had photos of boyfriends—some are famous, some are not—who are naked, and none of the photos of famous men were ever released. It was all women," she added.

"So, it was a personal attack on women, and trying to shame women. I just think it’s disgusting that there were no men—I think there was only one male victim—so women were specifically targeted."

The showbiz world was rocked by the hacking of 101 celebrities' alleged nude photographs last August, with a list of names including Jennifer Lawrence and Kim Kardashian appearing on image board 4chan.
