Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans loses custody of her children after husband allegedly killed her dog

Fired Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has temporarily lost custody of her three children after her husband, David Eason, allegedly shot and killed her dog.

According to an E! News report, a judge temporarily ruled that the couple would not regain custody of Evans' three kids: sons Jace, nine, and Kaiser, four, and daughter Ensley, two.

Evans shares Jace with her ex Andrew Lewis and Kaiser with ex Nathan Griffith, while Ensley is the child she shares with Eason.

Evans' mother currently has custody of Ensley and Jace, while Kaiser is reportedly living with Griffith and his grandmother. Meanwhile, Eason's daughter Maryssa remains in custody with her mother, Whitney Johnson.

A source told E! News that "Jenelle was stunned that the judge did not give her back the kids. They are all for the time being remaining with their respective caregivers."

The source said Evans and Eason will meet with the children's caregivers at court next Tuesday to "see what the the next steps are as this is a temporary custody decision." The pair are currently allowed "one hour once a week of supervised visits."

According to the source, Jenelle is "focusing on getting her kids back and she is focusing on working on her marriage."

The family drama began after Eason allegedly killed their family pet, Nugget, in front of Kaiser after the dog bit Ensley on the face. Evans was later fired from Teen Mom, the franchise that made her famous.
