The 2019 TV Week Logies are fast approaching and Sophie Monk has made a hilarious bid to finally win an award.

Taking to Instagram, the 39-year-old shared a tongue in cheek 'advertisement' begging Australians to vote for her so that she can continue to host Love Island Australia while sipping cocktails in a tropical destination.

The video shows Monk hamming it up for the camera, posing sadly and pretending to cry over her lack of a Logie -- all in what looks like her own backyard.

"Sophie Monk has been a celebrity on our screens for years and never has she won a Logie," claims a melancholy voiceover.

"One simple vote can keep Sophie on an exotic island, where she sips cocktails and watches the drama unfold on Love Island."

Monk even posed in a bikini, cocktail in hand, for the mock ad as the voiceover reminded fans to vote so that she can continue her work on Love Island.

The entertainer is set to return to the reality dating show later this year for its second season, hosting again after the wild success of the debut season last year.

Though it seems Monk returned to a more humble setting for her Logies campaign video, with one shot showing her dad Andrew putting out the rubbish in the background as Sophie poses for the camera.

She and her dad also held hands and skipped through the garden together in a later scene, the sweet moment accompanied by voiceover pleas to vote for Monk to finally win a Logie.

"Help stop the injustice. Help the celebrity win a Logie and make Australia great again," the voiceover continues, ripping off Donald Trump's widely joked about slogan.

Funny to the end, the video even concludes with a hilarious aside from the voice over artist, saying "Spoken by a paid voice over artist in a foreign country who doesn't know who she is."

"You've got my vote!! This is so bloody funny," one wrote.

"I love how involved your dad is with everything, it's a beautiful thing to see," another added.

With the Logies just months away, taking place on June 30, there's still plenty of time to cast your vote for Monk and keep her sipping cocktails.

Monk can be nominated in both the Most Popular Presenter and Most Popular Personality categories.
