Sophie Monk talks rumoured pregnancy with Bachelorette mate: 'He's on the same page'

Sophie Monk has officially kicked off her tenure as this year's Bachelorette, and she's confirming that she has not only found love, but plans to one day start a family with her new partner.

In an radio interview with Jackie O on Wednesday, the 37-year-old reality star firmly addressed rumours that she's already pregnant.

"Oh, god. No, not yet. I keep saying I want a baby and to get married, but I don't mean, like, today," she told Jackie.

Asked if her chosen partner is on board with her future plans, she did share some positive news.

"Yeah, he is. Most of the guys [from The Bachelorette] were," Sophie said, adding, "It gets deep really quickly. Within five minutes you're talking about it."

"That's what's good about it," Sophie said of The Bachelorette's fast tracked road to love. "It cuts through the bulls--t."

The former Bardot singer previously told NW magazine that she's head-over-heels for her new mate, though she's not rushing down the aisle.

"I've done that before [made a fast commitment] before and it burns out too quickly. You need everything to settle."

She continued, "'I'm fully in love and I'd love to have my own [kids]...I think in a year maybe."'

As for how many little ones she hopes to have she teased, "We'll start with one and see how it goes!"
