Sofia Vergara claps back at fan who questioned her face's 'changing appearance': 'It's called ageing'

Here's a note to Instagram trolls everywhere: If you're planning on questioning an actress' looks, be prepared to be taken to task. 

Sofia Vergara proved exactly that when a follower suggested she'd had work done to her face.

"Lately i've been noticing that u did something to your face... i can't find what but your face looks a little bit different now," the fan commented under one of the Modern Family star's photos.

Vergara, 46, wasted no time setting him straight by simply responding, "it's called aging."

It's not the only troll that the Colombian-born star has been the target of this week. On Monday, somebody left a comment on Joe Manganiello's Instagram account, critiquing Vergara's pronunciation of her husband's last name.

In a promotional video for television streaming service Hulu, Vergara hilariously warns the audience to "Never date Joe Manganiello. He ruins men forever."

Underneath the clip, posted to the 41-year-old actor's account, a fan wrote: "How many takes for Sofia to pronounce your name correctly?" along with a laughing emoji.

Manganiello's response? "I hope you're sitting down for this one but it's her last name too," he hit back, confirming that his wife privately took his last name when they were married in 2015.

Although she moved to the US in the '90s, Vergara still has a strong Colombian accent, and isn't about to change it any time soon, no matter what the haters say.

"When it comes out, it comes out however it wants to come out," she told CBS' Lee Cowan in 2017.

"I can't control it. You think I would sound like this after 25 years in this country if I could control it?"

She's since been using it to her advantage in comedy roles, admitting that "I started to learn that it's funnier when I would say ye-aas, like yes, so now, it's like I don't even know what my accent is anymore."
