TV stars Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom announce split after 10 years together
American TV stars Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom have announced their shock split in a joint statement shared on social media.
"Cady and Jon here," the As the World Turns co-stars began. "We are taking this opportunity to make a short statement about our relationship status.
"It may be obvious to some based on our posts that we've taken some time apart. After serious consideration we have decided that our goals have been taking us in different directions and to end our marriage. We remain friends and wish each other every happiness."

They ended the post by saying: "As people who work in the public eye, it can be difficult to have a private life.
"Regardless, we ask for your kind consideration in this matter."

The couple haven't posted photos together for the past few months
McClain, 54, and Lindstrom, 66, were married on Valentine's Day in 2014.
There's was an epic love story, having portrayed Rosanna Cabot and Craig Montgomery on the the CBS daytime drama.
The pair soon became fan favourites, working together on the show for four years.

McClain, 54, and Lindstrom, 66, were married on Valentine's Day in 2014. Instagram
McClain won Emmys for her role on the show and also starred on All My Children, Days of Our Lives, The Young and the Restless and Around the Sun.
Lindstrom also won Emmys for some of his roles across a host of shows, including in Port Charles, General Hospital, True Detective and Santa Barbara.

Lindstrom is also an author, releasing his crime novel Hollywood Hustle earlier this year.
McClain has spent the past six months in New York where she has been working on various projects while Lindstrom embarked on a book tour.
They have asked for privacy during this as they navigate the end of their relationship. WireImage
The last time the pair appeared publicly together was at the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards in 2023.
