Sharna Burgess says she doesn't compare herself to Brian Austin Green's ex Megan Fox
Sharna Burgess has the perfect response to a fan who asked her about Megan Fox.
The Dancing With the Stars pro, who's currently dating Fox's ex Brian Austin Green and is pregnant with his child, called the Jennifer's Body star "her own self and an amazing woman" during an Instagram Story Q&A on Monday.
The 36-year-old Australian made the comments in response to a fan who asked, "How do you deal with following in Megan Fox's footsteps?"

"Normally I wouldn't answer these types of questions but I think many women struggle with comparing themselves to a partners [ex] or to other women in general," she wrote.
"That's because society has made it out that we are a bitchy and competitive gender, that we can't be possibly be happy with who we are without wanting what 'she' (whomever that is you) has. We are measured by the looks and our weight more than anything else."
Burgess' answer was clear, adding to her post: "My answer to you is simple... I don't."

"She is her own self and an amazing woman. As I am my own self and an amazing woman. This notion that you 'follow in the footsteps' of your partners' X is dangerous. If you live by that idea, then it will lead to the same result. The relationship ending. You are a unique, one of a kind woman, don't follow in anyone's footsteps, make your own path. Create the path YOU want."

Before concluding, Sharna had one last important message for her followers: "Remember that women are wonderful creatures. We do not need to tear down others to make ourselves feel stronger. But helping each other, respecting each other and lifting each other up is what truly makes us unstoppable. A community of women around you is a gift."
Burgess and Green, 48, first sparked dating rumours in December 2020 after they were photographed spending the holidays together. Last month, the pair announced that they were expecting their first child together.

"And suddenly my world would never be the same. Forever greater, forever expanded and deeper. Forever abundant and unconditional," Burgess wrote in a post shared to Instagram a few weeks later.
"Baby Boy July 4th (ish) 2022 @brianaustingreen I love our family, I love that it's growing and I love you. How did we get so lucky."
The news came weeks after Fox, 35, finalised her divorce from Green after 10 years of marriage. They share three kids: Noah, nine, Bodhi, eight, and Journey, five. Green also has a son, Kassius, 19, from a previous relationship with his former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Vanessa Marcil.
