Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young suing strip club for using her image without consent

Netflix star Heather Rae Young has filed a lawsuit against a US strip club that used her image to promote NFL viewing parties.

The Selling Sunset star claims Platinum West and Platinum Plus Gentlemen's clubs in South Carolina and Pennsylvania plastered her image on their promotional posters without her consent.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, the 34-year-old LA-based realtor said she never had any communication with the club and therefore never approved of having her picture used in any of its advertisements, which heroes the phrase "Cheerleaders for Every Fan".

On the poster seemingly taken when Young was modelling in her 20s, she wears a football jersey, black miniskirt and knee-high stockings as she evoked a sexy football girl costume. 

Young – who is expecting her first child with her husband, fellow reality TV star Tarek El Moussa – claims the posters are "false advertising"  the club "defamed her by making it appear she works there as a stripper" for "false advertising".

The star was a model back in her 20s before she cemented a career in real estate, eventually working for the Oppenheim Group in LA, the LA real estate that is the focus of the hit Netflix program, Selling Sunset.

In 2010, she got her big modelling break when she posed nude for Playboy centrefold shot.

Last year, Young reflected on that sexy shoot, saying that she has no regrets. 

"It changed my life, it was the most defining moment in my life," she told The Sun in November. "I don't regret anything I've ever done. I'm proud of my life. Everything I've done has got me to where I am today."
