George, 29, filed for divorce from the Mystic River star, 61, in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, October 15.

George is an Australian-born actress who has recently scored some major roles and has been inspired by her celebrity parents who are familiar with the spotlight.

Leila George is an actress. She started out as a camera operator before she got her big break in front of the camera in 2018.

She studied at the Sydney Film School, before her actor father, Vincent D'Onofrio, encouraged her to try her hand at acting.

Penn and George tied the knot during the pandemic in July 2020, in an intimate ceremony but had been linked since 2016. Rumours of their nuptials began when they were spotted wearing matching gold wedding bands.

The pair ultimately split in 2021, with George filing for divorce in October.

Penn and George met shortly after Penn split from ex-fiancée Charlize Theron in June 2015.

Penn has two children that he shares with ex-girlfriend Robin Wright: Dylan Frances Penn, 28, and Hopper Jack Penn, 26. He married Wright in 1996 after the birth of his two children, but they split in 2010.
