Samantha Jade posts moving tribute to her mum on Instagram: 'We were two peas in a pod'

Pop princess Samantha Jade has posted a moving tribute to her mum Jacqui Gibbs, who lost her battle with cancer earlier this month.

The 27-year-old, who is currently taking a career break as she grieves, posted the below message on her Instagram, with the caption: “To my mummy.”

Earlier this month, Sammi announced her mum had passed away in a message to fans on her social media, saying: "My mum has been there for me through my ups and down, if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be here right now.

“She was such an inspiration and she fought cancer's butt until the very end with strength and grace.”

Sammi's mother Jacqui died after a four-month-battle with cancer.
