Sam Frost's ex says she 'deserves so much better' than Bachelor Blake

Looks like The Bachelor's Sam Frost won't be single for much longer.

Well, not if her former lover has anything to do with it anyway!

The 25-year-old's ex-boyfriend Paul O'Brien gushed to the Herald Sun about how his ex "deserves so much better" than her failed reality TV romance.

The 36-year-old actor said he's also not ruling out rekindling his own relationship with the heartbroken blonde in the future.

In the meantime, the former Home and Away star said that "Sam just needs to do her thing."

"This is her moment to shine," he explained. "We have a lot in common so we have stayed really good friends but have always been in different places.

"We will see what happens down the track. She just needs to enjoy whatever comes out of this."

Sam and Paul, who dated in 2011, had lunch after The Bachelor finished filming but didn't chat about the show or Sam's ex fiancé Blake Garvey.

"I didn't watch it and we didn't talk about it," he said. "We had other stuff to catch up on.

"I am not surprised to hear that people really like Sam though. She's genuine. She's such a romantic at heart. She's beautiful.

"I have always thought she was a star. When we were going out I could see we were both performers and that she had such natural talent and encouraged her to give it a go. But she wasn't interested in the spotlight."
