Hugh Jackman shares childhood photos of himself and Ryan Reynolds and the 'Deadpool' star has some thoughts

Hugh Jackman tried to call a truce in his online 'feud' with Ryan Reynolds, but the Deadpool star still has jokes.

This morning, the Aussie actor posted a side-by-side photo of the pair as children, and the resemblance was uncanny in his eyes.

"Brother?" the 50-year-old captioned the black-and-white snap.

But Jackman's attempt to show brotherly love was shot down by Reynolds, who used it as an easy opportunity to take the piss.

"I had no idea you were such a gorgeous kid. Oh, that's me," he wrote as he retweeted the photo.

And the laughs kept coming when The Wolverine star posted the same image to his Instagram account, with Reynolds again poking fun of their similarities.

"Mom's frequent trips to Australia suddenly explained," quipped the 42-year-old, who has been incessantly trolling Jackman in the past year for his refusal to do a Wolverine cameo in a Deadpool movie.

An attempt at a truce first occurred back in February when the pair decided they would benefit from a bromance, so they helped promote each other's business -- Reynold's Aviation Gin and Jackman's Laughing Man Coffee Company. Only problem was, Jackman didn't hold up his end of the bargain when it came to shooting the commercials.

In Jackman's ad, Reynolds did a voiceover to accompany uplifting footage in which he praised his friend for his "Hugh-roic company" -- he even joked that the ad cost him US$1 million to make. Meanwhile, Jackman's cameo in Aviation Gin was far from flattering.

"Ryan Reynolds is a complete and total [beep]," the Aussie said in the video. "The gin's pretty great though, I'll have to try it someday."

Sounds like Jackman got his just desserts…
