Ryan Reynolds shares photos of his COVID test experience

Ryan Reynolds shared some behind-the-scenes snaps from his recent coronavirus test – and it doesn't look like he's having a great time!

The photos –– taken by his wife Blake Lively –– show Reynolds receiving a nose swab, a test that was a mandatory requirement for returning to work on his upcoming film Red Notice.

Despite looking a little uncomfortable, the actor has reassured fans that it's painless and fast.

"The Covid Test is quick and easy," he wrote. "The doctor places the swab up your nose, just deep enough to tickle your childhood memories and then it's over. No matter what you say to him, he won't buy you dinner first."

Red Notice is a comedy-thriller film that also stars Gal Gadot and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Filming began in January, but had to be halted due to the coronavirus pandemic. It's set to recommence shooting next week, and is slated for a 2021 release on Netflix.

Many film productions have begun to recommence filming after shutting down six months ago. The Batman was filming in London but had to be paused again after its main star, Robert Pattinson, contracted COVID-19.
