Rove McManus' new comedy improvisation TV show Riot has flopped massively in the US.
The series, co-produced by comedy aficionado Steve Carrell, attracted just 1.3 million viewers on its Tuesday night debut on the Fox Network.

The tune-in figure has been described by Variety as "abysmal" and "anaemic". Ouch! Check out footage from the show and a chat with Rove above.
Americans were more interested in watching long-time winner NCIS, which pulled in 14.8 million viewers.
Glee followed closely behind Riot with a meagre 1.9 million viewers.
