Per Rolling Stone, the star said: "I always feel very uncomfortable when I accept awards and this is no bulls---.
"I got into this business because I wanted to get one hit record," he said.
"It's hard to get a hit record and now I've got a lot!
"What's really amazing to me is that this is the longest relationship that I have had in music (with Duran Duran).
"I started with a song called The Reflex, we did Wild Boys and we're gonna be touring next summer."

Before her costume change, Jade Thirlwall posed for a loved-up photo with her boyfriend Jordan Stephens.
The star, who rose to fame as a member of girl band Little Mix, opted for an ethereal baby pink corset gown.

The singer was honoured with The Trailblazer Award.
Thirlwall concluded her acceptance speech by saying: "I want to thank myself, because it's really scary going from being in a girl band for over 10 years, that was all I knew for so long, to coming out as a solo artist – I was terrified. So I'm really proud of myself."
