Rob Kardashian rushed to hospital with surprise diabetes diagnosis

Rob Kardashian's health issues came to a head on the weekend, with the former reality star being rushed to hospital and getting diagnosed with diabetes, TMZ reports.

The 28-year-old felt unwell, and his family took him to an LA hospital as he took a turn for the worse.

After tests, doctors diagnosed Rob with diabetes.

According to TMZ, he had no idea he had the chronic condition, which involves high blood sugar levels.

Rob has since been stabilised and he's still in hospital.

Sources close to the Kardashian family told TMZ it's a "wake-up call" for Rob, who'd like to start the new year "healthy".

Rob was last seen in public in June at In-N-Out burger. Back in April, his mother Kris Jenner broke into tears on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, concerned he might "die" if she doesn't help him.

She revealed her son had put on 100 pounds (45kg) in the past year alone.
